3.19.2011: When buying tickets online for a show, hold as many as you can while searching for the best seats.
3.18.2011: Kids love to hear their voices recorded.
3.17.2011: People always see through it.
3.16.2011: We all deal with things in different ways. Often times, it's the hardest on the person is the supporter because everyone else has that person to lean on, but when does the supporter get to fall apart too?
3.15.2011: Speak up Yang. Don't wait for someone else to say it first. People here are truly invested in helping me succeed.
3.14.2011: Some people will never change. Even when you really think and hope they do.
3.13.2011: What I want in someone is not too different from what I want in a job. Perhaps they're just things I want and it applies off of all aspects of my life.
3.12.2011: Connections can't be explained in any other way than how you feel.
3.11.2011: I need people who inspire me.
3.10.2011: I believe in signs. Sometimes they are more obvious than others. This one was pretty damn obvious.
3.9.2011: Talk in shorter sentences, and breathe.
3.8.2011: Sometimes the old way isn't the bad way.
3.7.2011: If I'm in bed by 10, I'll have no problem waking up in the morning.
3.6.2011: I look ridiculous with a large purse, even though it's trendy. I'm just not trendy.
3.5.2011: It is 100% possible to take a 16 hour nap after being emotionally exhausted for an entire week.
3.4.2011: I'm much more emotional privately than in the presence of a lot of people.
3.3.2011: I think my parents not only volunteered at Lindsay's bone marrow drive, but I think they funded it. They didn't know Lindsay really, and they didn't really know Brandon or his family. I really think my mom did it just because she knew he and his family are so important to me.
3.2.2011: You never really know if you're really, really going to make it, but it creates a healthy level of discomfort that always pushes you to be better. It's a good thing. ;)
3.1.2011: For all the days when there's not-so-great people who I can't believe behave like they do, there are just as many other days when totally awesome people, like Jess, Ligz, and Kreena today, blow you away.

i want to thank you for giving me the best day of my life - march 2011
3.19.2011: Finding my wallet - After almost losing it today, I really panicked. Thankfully, I have it back now!
3.18.2011: Definition of COB - While I think it technically should mean 5 pm EST, I think I've redefined it as 8 am the following morning.
3.17.2011: Kim - She really makes an effort to keep things fun. Today she brought in St. Patty's Day goodies: green wigs, an inflatable leprechaun hat, beads, and Irish cream Hershey kisses! Jacques removed my wig because he couldn't take me seriously in our copy meeting.
3.16.2011: Flexible working hours - This is the 3rd day in a row that I've gotten in at 9:30, and it was okay. Hopefully today was the last day of that nonsense though.
3.15.2011: Doing what's right without hesitation or question - I did the right thing today, perhaps hurt someone along the way, but I know it was the right thing to do.
3.14.2011: Alexa - I think she's the one person who's really taught me what friendship should be like.
3.13.2011: Cayman & Jackson - Coming home to them always makes me happy to walk in the door.
3.12.2011: Brandon Lee - When I came up this weekend, I thought I'd be spending it basically alone since Emily was studying. I didn't have to though because an incredible person I met on the plane yesterday, not only offered to show me around Seattle, but showed me the off-the-beaten path kind of places that I'd love.
3.11.2011: Sweta - It was great to see her today, and I'm so thankful she helped me through all of this.
3.10.2011: Mom - For picking up the phone, even in the middle of the night. It's crazy how moms are the people can always calm you down.
3.9.2011: Not being afraid of sharing my opinion - I don't know when this changed in my life, but somewhere along the way it did. I think it was because while in the first years of my life, my opinion didn't matter, the rest growing up, mom really asked frequent, "what do you think?" and "what do you want?"
3.8.2011: Getting past Awkward Turtle - I almost didn't go in tonight, but I sucked it up and did. And I'm glad.
3.7.2011: New ideas - I never would have guessed this was the approach that would be presented for our website. The team did good today. I know that's why we have our agencies.
3.6.2011: The Internet - The internet has made it so easy to reach out and connect with people - especially when you're putting together a surprise and don't want to ask that person for their friend's contact info.
3.5.2011: Friends - Usually I call out specific names, but today, just friends as a whole. Like someone recently told me, friends are the family we get to choose. I realize this more than ever as I watched what incredible friends Lindsay has and knowing how lucky I am to have my friends as well.
3.4.2011: Chagrin Falls - So many people came out to support the Rawot family yesterday. It's incredible to see how many people care. It was also fun to meet many of Emily and Kate's friends' parents who only had awesome things to say about my parents!
3.3.2011: Brandon & Brooke - They've always been two of my favorite people. I'm so glad they're a part of my life.
3.2.2011: James - He is the best mentor i could ever ask for. I walked away from my meeting with so many answers to so many questions.
3.1.2011: C-Ligz- I never understood until now what it's like to have someone on your team who's such an incredible friend.

the best part of waking up - march 2011
3.19.2011: Putting together Leslie and Tom's new house! She's so happy. This is what she's wanted for a long time.
3.18.2011: Making up stories with Caden about Caden, Gavin, Owen and Cat in the Hat. Today, we went on adventures in China, Mexico and Florida. We swam through oceans, rode on dolphins, escaped from pirates and Vikings, flew kites, called a whale with a conch shell, disappeared through warp holes, and much more. Not bad for a day.
3.17.2011: Kicking some arse in front of EMB today.
3.16.2011: Giving Brandon his birthday present. The most important things we have in life are our family and friends, our memories, and our health. At the end of the day, that's all we're left with.
3.15.2011: Jumping off waterfalls holding your hand. Holding that door open because this door is like the one in the Secret Garden - old wooden slabs with a rusted brass lock and overgrown ivy - it has more character and stories and life, and its begging to be opened.
3.14.2011: Chatting with Alexa and Tim each for a few hours or so. Seeing both of them so happy is incredible.
3.13.2011: Kissing Schmellie on her forehead as I left her apartment. She was sound asleep and even then she has an irresistibly, intoxicating personality.
3.12.2011: Opening doors. Sharing the day with someone who I'm lucky to have met.
3.11.2011: Seeing the little schmellie one! Such an incredible little one she is.
3.10.2011: Being a masochist for wanting the pain and the glory of New York City.
3.9.2011: Wine tasting with Cligz and Sunshine. Perfect way to unwind the day. And then seeing Kevin's plan for his wine store. Incredible.
3.8.2011: Being called "directionally brilliant" by Jacques today. Not quite sure what that means, but it felt good.
3.7.2011: Asking Hillary what she really thought about our initiative.
3.6.2011: Seeing how close Iqbal and Nafi are as siblings. Living together, or even just in the same city, makes such a difference.
3.5.2011: Catching up with the Harbages. Such a wonderful family.
3.4.2011: Hearing Emily read Lindsay's eulogy. It perfectly encapsulated her life and her as person. Live life to the fullest. And use made up words and props.
3.3.2011: Asking our team if Charmin as a brand is male or female.
3.2.2011: Chatting with Mary Margaret after our meeting and putting an end to the tension and power struggle. Sometimes stepping down from your strong point of view makes it so much easier to move forward.
3.1.2011: Seeing the photo of Brandon with Lindsay that he posted as his Facebook profile. A day that makes you laugh, think and cry, as Jimmy V. said, is the most fulfilling day you can ask for, and in one moment, seeing that photo made me do all three.
